This privacy policy shall detail how Heallocare , a limited liability company incorporated under Egyptian law in Cairo, Egypt, registered in Cairo with the Commercial Register under number 177922 located in Maadi,Cairo , ('we', 'us') collects and processes personal and sensitive information about users and healthcare providers (HCP). We are committed to protect the privacy and security of your personal information and this policy explains how we use and protect this data, and your rights in this regard.

The information shared with Heallocare aids in our providing you with outstanding experiences. This privacy policy applies to all personal information we collect or process about you. You are requested to provide consent to this privacy policy and the terms of use before using our services. Please read them carefully as they constitute the contractual relationship between you and Heallocare. Should you elect not to consent to the terms of use and/or the privacy policy, you will be unable to access most of the services provided by Heallocare.

 

The Personal information

Heallocare may collect information about you from various sources, including the information you provide us with and information we collect during the delivery of our services (such as your location when you request or provide our services) or otherwise as part using Heallocare in any capacity.

The nature of personal information we collect from you will differ depending on the capacity in which you use Heallocare. For example, in your capacity as an HCP, we will collect certain information about you before you begin providing your services through our platforms for safety and legal compliance reasons. In your capacity as a user of Heallocare services, we may collect certain information from you to be able to effectively provide you with the required services.

We may be required by law to collect certain personal information about you, or as a consequence of any contractual relationship we have with you. Failure to provide this information may lead to the full or partial suspension of providing you with our services.


Information we collect

 

I-              User Information

To be able to provide you with the best user experience on our platforms, Heallocare collects different types of information from various sources, such as information about your device, web browser, IP address, time zone and cookies installed on your browser. We also collect information about your activity on different pages of our website including HCPs that your view, referrals and your interactions with Heallocare. We also collect information that allows us to know your device name, OS version, country, location, language, IP address, mobile Ad identifier, settings of the devices, device model name, manufacturing number, date and location of purchase, demographic information etc.

 

We collect your personal information when you create your user account on Heallocare platforms, book a service, or subscribe to receive our marketing materials. The data we collect includes your name, location, email, applicable devices, postal code, home location, gender, date of birth, username, password, etc.). Such is the case also if you log in using a third-party account, or all the data that we request that you provide while communicating with our customer service staff.

We may also request your debit/credit card and billing information to use it to deduct the cost of the requested services on our platforms. After the requested transaction is concluded, security codes of your card (OTP, CVV) will not be stored on our servers.

We may also collect your social media information including your social media account name and publicly available social media information, as well as correspondence information including emails, messages and telephone calls between you and us.

We may collect sensitive information about the user including details of your racial or ethnic origin,genetic data, biometric data and health-related this may include the data the HCP will upload on the patient profile based on the service provided such medical prescription, request for further diagnosis, or other information of similar nature.

 

If you are an HCP, we will collect your personal and professional information such as your name, photo, personal and professional information, certificates, work experience, covered locations and other relevant information. You consent and authorize Heallocare to do further data processing and analysis in order to assist users to select the HCP best suited for their respective cases. You also consent and authorize Heallocare to share your personal and professional information with users to enable them to access your services.

 

-       Information from other sources

 

We may collect certain additional information from your device during urgent visit services including your live location.

 

If you are an HCP, we may also from time-to-time collect or otherwise be provided with additional information about you from third party sources such as financial institutions, fraud and public safety authorities, law enforcement authorities and other HCPs.

 

We collect information from you through cookies deployed through our website, which are small text files that are saved on your terminal browser when you use our website, for the purpose of enabling us to remember your actions and preferences for a period of time. Referral to cookies includes also the use of similar technologies that may be used for similar purposes.

 

-       Other types of information we may use about you

 

If you are an HCP, we will be provided with certain information related to any criminal offenses or health conditions you may have.

II-            Use and processing of your personal information

 

Heallocare uses your personal information for a variety of processing purposes and under a variety of lawful basis, where having such a basis is required under applicable law. We primarily use your data to successfully and efficiently provide you with the full spectrum of our services. Our use of your data includes responding to your requests, questions, instructions made and given through our website or mobile app. To provide tailored functions based on collected information relevant to your interests. To identify and authenticate your identity to allow the use of certain functions of our services. To operate, evaluate and improve the services provided by Heallocare, including developing new products and services, managing our communications, analyzing our services, conducting market research, performing data analytics, auditing and other internal functions.

 

Some of the information that we collect is used to help us detect potential threats and fraud, to optimize the user experience on Heallocare platforms, for market research purposes, to improve, fix or modify our services, to provide the service, to communicate with the user or the HCP and to provide relevant marketing materials that suits your interests.

 

 

We may obtain your consent or explicit consent to collect and use certain categories of your personal information when we are required to do so by law. If we ask for your consent to process your personal information, you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us using the details in the ‘contact us’ section.

 

YOUR SENSITIVE DATA SHALL ONLY BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING YOU WITH THE REQUESTED AND RELEVANT MEDICAL SERVICES. IT WILL NOT BE SHARED WITH ANY OTHER PARTIES EXCEPT THE HCP(S) PROVIDING YOU WITH THE REQUESTED SERVICES, WHO COMMIT TO PROTECTING THE PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY OF ALL USER SENSITIVE INFORMATION PROVIDED TO THEM BY HEALLOCARE BY SIGNING OUR CONTRACT AND CONSENTING TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY.

 

HEALLOCARE does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties personally identifiable information. This does not include third parties who offer Heallocare services such as operating thewebsite and/or mobile app, conducting our business, or HCPs, so long as said parties commit to preserving the confidentiality of this information. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, to enforce our Website’s policies, or protect our rights or others’ rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable information may be shared with other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.All payment details and personally identifiable information will not be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.

 

Heallocare utilizes analytics services such as Google Analytics and Firebase that use Display Advertising information for Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting.The information we obtain may be shared with or collected directly by these providers and other relevant third parties who use the information, for example, to evaluate use of our website and mobile app.

 

III-          Data Protection

Heallocare spares no effort to protect all its users and HCPs data from unlawful acts including loss and unauthorized access. These measures entail limiting access to personal and sensitive information, compliance with relevant policy rules implemented internally for this purpose, training of personnel responsible for data processing, as well as adherence to good practices, guidelines and instructions of the regulatory authorities regarding user data protection. We evaluate these measures on a regular basis to ensure the security of the processing.

Heallocare implements technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk to the personal information we process. These measures aim to ensure the confidentiality of personal information.

 

IV-         Information Sharing

Heallocare may transfer or share your information to business partners and providers that offer services on our behalf, including entities that develop and operate systems for our website and mobile app. Heallocare may also disclose your information to third parties on the grounds of a merger, transfer, acquisition, sale, asset purchasing or in the event of bankruptcy.

Heallocare may share your information with law enforcement agencies, courts, regulators, government authorities or other third parties. We may share your personal information with these parties where we believe this is necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation, or otherwise to protect our rights or the rights of any third party.

 

V-           User Rights over Personal Information

In accordance with relevant legislations, you have certain rights regarding your personal information including your right to access your personal information, your right to amend, edit or update the information we hold about you, your right to request the erasure of your personal information, your right to restrict our use of your personal information and object to our use of your personal information, receive a copy of your personal information in a usable electronic format and transmit it to a third party (right to data portability), you also retain the right to file a complaint to data protection regulators.

We encourage you to contact us to update or correct your information if it changes, or if the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate. Heallocare may contact you if we need additional information from you in order to honour your requests.


VI-         Communications

Heallocare offer the users options with regards to the personal information we obtain from you via email, phone call, text messages or push notifications. To limit communications you receive from us, or to submit a request, please contact us using the information specified in the “Contact Us” section. You can unsubscribe from our email marketing communications at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included in the emails.

 

VII-       Information Storage and Retention

Heallocare will keep your personal information for the whole duration of your usage and/or continued registration on our website and/or mobile app. Should you elect to cancel your account on Heallocare website and/or mobile app and/or stop using our services, we may retain your personal information for a period of time that enables us to maintain our business records for analysis and/or audit purposes, comply with record retention requirements under the law and/or defend or bring any existing or potential legal claims.

Heallocare will delete your personal information when it is no longer required or relevant for these purposes. If there is any information that we are unable to delete entirely for technical reasons from our systems, we will put in place appropriate measures to prevent any further processing or use of this data.

Heallocare retains the right to revise and update this privacy policy at its sole discretion as regularly as we deem suitable, without any obligation to notify the users or the HCPs. By providing your consent to this privacy policy, you agree to be bound by the regulations of the most updated version of the privacy policy published on the website and/or the mobile app, and that you are solely responsible for regularly checking Heallocare’s website and mobile app for privacy policy updates. Please note that the date specified at the beginning of this document is the date this privacy policy enters into force. Your visit and usage of Heallocare’s website and mobile app after the date of policy amendment will be considered your full consent to be bound by the new privacy policy.
